Cindy Papale is author to a book titled The Empty Cup Runneth Over and is a breast cancer survivor.
The Empty Cup Runneth Over is to empower, inspire, and educate young women about breast cancer. Currently, Cindy is collaborating on two more books with physicians and nurses.
In October, 2008, Cindy Papale has appeared on Channel 6 South Florida Today Show, has been on 101.5 LITE FM radio Station, has been in every community newspaper in Miami Dade County, making cover to three in the Miami Herald's Neighbor's Section and Coral Gables and South Miami newspapers. Cindy also was on the cover to the University of Miami Magazine in June, 2007.
Cindy Also has been in the 2008 Living Beyond Breast Cancer News Letter discussing being single and living with breast cancer as well as in the "Quest Magazine," distributed by The University of Miami Sylveser Comprehensive Cancer Center to over 40,000 people throughout Miami Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties. In July, 2007 Cindy appeared as the first woman on the University of Miami's Medicine Magazine.
On March 26, 2009, Cindy Papale received an award by Patrick Cyrus, IREC Chairman for The International Women's Day, which is the global day celebrating the collective power of women for the inspirational contributions to business, community and to the quality of life of others dealing with breast cancer and other health issues.
Cindy also was selected as one of the breast cancer survivor models in a fashion show/luncheon in The Day of Caring on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at the Hotel Intercontinental in Miami, Florida, and on Sunday, April 26 will be guest speaker at The Fort Lauderdal International Film Festival LUNAFEST, and also will be signing her book The Empty Cup Runneth Over. A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit the Kristy Lasch Miracle Foundation, which is a 501(c)3 organization that helps women under the age of 30 with medical related expenses.
